Today, Side Museum shelters the most beautiful archeologic artworks collection of the region. Building of Side Museum was also built as a big Roman Bath and it is a very important artwork. There are three hammam structures remaining from Side Antique City to our recent days. With the restorations done in the years of 1959-61, Side Museum has been established on Agora Bath complex built during Late Roman Period.
Museum is entered with a door taking place on the east direction. After the doors, antique road takes place extending from columned street to the sea. Bath takes place on the north section of the road and right in front of it, there is the area used as the garden of the Museum today and the same area was used as the sport area of the Bath complex during that time. Statues, reliefs, epigraphs, tomb and ornamental architectural pieces extracted during the archeologic excavations done in the years of 1947-1965 are exhibited within indoor and outdoor areas of the Bath.
