Natural structure of the borough is partially suitable for agriculture and agriculture has developed in these regions. Remaining areas are separated as forest and moors and there are also villages where stockbreeding has developed. In the villages of the borough, alongside of stock breeding and small cattle breeding, crop, sesame, watermelon cultivations are done and oil cultivation is gradually gaining importance particularly during the recent years. Labor of forest products and seasonal agriculture labor are the main ways of earning and thyme, daphne, locust and fruit cultivation such as cherry and walnut have started. During the recent years, cotton production is decreasing while increases are observed in citric, open area and under-cover vegetable cultivation. Industry has not developed in the borough. However, there are many factories based on agriculture.
